Aurangabad, July 17:

A 12-year-old boy from Hinanagar in the Chikalthana area gone for swimming drown in a stream near Cambridge School Savangi Beed By-pass road on Saturday at around 2 pm. The deceased has been identified as Adil Shaikh Rahim Shaikh (12, Hinanagar, Chikalthana).

Some boys from Hinanagar had gone to Savangi Beed By-pass road to play on Saturday afternoon. Adil entered the stream and met a watery grave in six feet deep ditch in it. His friends shouted for help. The nearby residents and police rushed to the spot, but it was too late then. The fire brigade was informed, and the Jawans removed Adil from the stream. The Cidco MIDC police then took him to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) where the doctors declared him dead after the examination. He is survived by parents, five brothers, and a sister.
