Aurangabad, Jan 13:

Vaccination drive will be launched on January 16 in 8 rural and 5 urban booths in the district. On the first day, 1300 corona warriors and health workers will be vaccinated at these 13 booths as 100 at each booth.

Doctors, nurses and other staff of government and private hospitals have been registering for vaccination since last month. In all, 13,000 health workers have been registered in rural areas. Vaccination will start on the first day at 8 places including Daulatabad, Ganori, Palod primary health center, Sub-district hospitals in Gangapur, Vaijapur and Sillod and rural hospitals in Pachod and Kannad said additional district health officer and vaccination officer Dr Vijay Wagh.

The number of booths has been reduced

On the first day, vaccination was planned at 18 booths in the district. But this number has now been reduced to 13. On Wednesday, 100 people will be vaccinated in one day at each booth. After January 16, the number of booths will be gradually increased. In all, 150 booths will be set up in rural areas in phases for vaccination.
