176 new patients in dist, 332 discharged

A total of 175 new Covid-19 patients were detected in Aurangabad district today. In a heartening development, the number of new positive patients continues to be lower than that of the patients discharged and on Tuesday, 332 patients were discharged.

The district administration said that seven patients from Aurangabad district and one from the other district died today.

Out of 175 new patients, 76 are from rural areas, 43 from the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation limits and 56 others. Through antigen tests, the mobile swab collection team found 56 positive patients and 30 were detected in rural areas.

The number of Corona positive patients in the district has now gone up to 34,725. Of them, 29,659 have recovered. A total of 976 patients have succumbed to the disease and 4,090 are being treated.
