Aurangabad, April 19:

Two friends going in an auto-rickshaw died as the rickshaw dashed a Truck, parked along the road on Paithan Road near Gevrai on Sunday at around 8.30 pm.

The deceased have been identified as Isa Hamid Jilani (30) and Afrozkha Salarkha Pathan (37, both residents of Bidkin).

Isa and Afroz were auto-rickshaw drivers and used to sustain their families from the income received by it. Both were good friends were spent most of their time together. On Sunday night, they were going from Aurangabad to Bidkin in the Auto-rickshaw. Their rickshaw dashed a dumper truck parked along the road near Gevrai on Paithan Road. Both the friends sitting on the driver seat were severely injured and fell unconscious. The other vehicle owner on the road rushed the injured to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). Both of them died while undergoing treatment. A case has been registered at the Chikalthana Police Station while PSI P B Thube is further investigating the case.

Afroz is survived by parens, wife, two sons and a daughter while Isa is survived by parents, wife and two children.
