Aurangabad, May 10: Four persons from Delhi have been booked by Chandannagar police, Kharadi, of Pune recently for allegedly blackmailing a girl from Latur in Marathwada threatening to make viral her nude pictures and videos. One of the accused raped her. The criminals also took 4.50 tolas gold jewellery from her, the police said.

The 23-year-old girl (MIDC area, Latur) currently staying in Tuljabhavaninagar, Pune lodged a complaint with the Pune police.

The accused identified as Vishal Chillar (28), Pooja Singh (25), Sameer Chaudhary (27) and Jyoti (21), are the residents of Flat No 644, LIG Flats, Hastal, Delhi.

The complainant is taking software education at an institute in Kharadi, Pune and works as a fashion designer. The girl was familiarized with a man, identified as Prince, on Instagram in 2020. Prince introduced her to Pooja Singh. The latter in turn introduced her to Vishal.

On an invitation, the victim went to Delhi on February 13 and stayed at a room of Vishal and Pooja. The very next day, he ventured out with the victim to show Delhi to her and proposed to her for marriage.

After a quarrel, the victim returned to Pune on February 17. Following this, he came to Pune along with his friend, Sameer to meet the victim and requested her to arrange accommodation. Following the request, she arranged an accommodation in a hotel in Kharadi. After having a meal in the hotel, he offered her sweets on eating which she became unconscious.

As soon as she woke up, she found herself naked in bed along with Vishal. He told her that he would marry her and forced her to come to Goa. The girl, Vishal and Samir went to Goa. Vishal raped her repeatedly there. He filmed her bathing video, the complainant has said.

Vishal told the victim that Pooja was demanding Rs 70,000 from him and if not given she would commit suicide. “I went to Delhi and handed over the cash to the accused. When I met Vishal’s parents, I learned that he was already married and has a son,” she said.

The victim further told Lokmat Times, “They started blackmailing me asking me to pay Rs 5 lakh. When I threatened of lodging a complaint, they sent my nude photos to my family members and friends.”

When contacted police inspector Sunil Thopte told Lokmat Times, “In view of Covid-19 situation in New Delhi, we will send a report to seniors and will investigate the matter after receiving their orders.”
