Aurangabad, July 16:

Students spontaneously responded to the blood donation camp held at Vivekanand College under the 'Lokmat Raktacha Nata' campaign on the occasion of the birth anniversary of freedom fighter and founder editor of 'Lokmat' venerated Jawaharlalji Darda alias Babuji. In all, 42 donors participated in the camp held from 10.30 am to 2 pm.

The camp at Vivekanand College was inaugurated by MLC Satish Chavan of Marathwada Graduate Constituency. Lokmat Editor-in-Chief Rajendra Darda, treasurer of Vivekanand education society Tushar Shisode, Lokmat Editor Chakradhar Dalvi, administrative officer Prabhakar More, principal Dr Ramdas Vanre, director Dr Ashok Gaikwad and deputy principal Dr Rajendra Shejul were present. The blood donation camp began at 10.30 am. Volunteers from NCC and NSS actively participated in the camp. In all, 42 donors donated blood, informed administrative officer Prabhakar More. Dr T R Patil, Dr Shyam Kulkarni, Dr Mahesh Shiurkar, Dr S K Fole, Dr Bhausaheb Devmunde, Dr Balaji Shendge and Dr R H Mogale took efforts.
