Aurangabad, March 13:

The Corona patients are increasing in the city rapidly since February. In all, 4262 patients were increased in the city from March 1 onwards. The severity of Corona is on the rise, and the municipal corporation administration has appealed to the residents to follow the Corona-related guidelines.

The Corona infection situation was under control in the first week of February as there were only 18 patients in the city and 8 in the rural areas on February 1. Hence, the residents, along with the corporation administration, had heaved a sigh of relief. Now, the rate of infection of Corona Virus has increased. The number of patients is increasing daily. In all, 4262 new patients have been found since the beginning of March while the doubling rate has gone down to less than ten days, said the municipal corporation health department sources. The situation is complex, and the residents must use masks, sanitizers and follow social distancing norms. If the symptoms are observed, the patients should immediately conduct the necessary test so that the other persons in contact are not infected, appealed the administration.
