70-yr-old woman found dead

Aurangabad, May 17:

A 70-year-old Kantabai Dwarkasingh Thakur (resident of Wadgaon) has been found dead in a stone quarry at Wadgaon Kolhati today early morning.

The Waluj MIDC police received a phone call where the caller informed about the woman's body lying in the quarry on Monday at 7 am. The police reached the spot and with the help of villagers took out the body. During the investigation, the police came to know that the name of the deceased is Kantabai Thakur. The police shifted her to the government hospital in an unconscious state where the doctors declared her dead on examination. Waluj MIDC police have registered a case of accidental death. Further investigation is on.
