Aarambh Society receives Master Deenanath Mangeshkar Award

Aarambh society for Autism and Slow Learner Children from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar has been honored with the prestigious Master Deenanath Mangeshkar Award by the Master Deenanath Mangeshkar Smruti Pratishthan, Pune. The award recognizes Aarambh's 13 years of dedicated service for autistic children.
The announcement was made in Mumbai on April 23. This year, Aarambh stands alongside notable personalities like actress Shraddha Kapoor, actor Sachin Pilgaonkar, and Padma Vibhushan Kumar Mangalam Birla, who will also receive awards. The awards will be presented on April 24 by RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat. Aarambh, the only organization in Marathwada dedicated to autism care, provides therapy, special education, vocational training, and employment opportunities to autistic children across regions like Vidarbha, Western Maharashtra, and Pune. The organization is also setting up Maharashtra's first residential facility for autistic children. In a statement, Founder and Director Ambika Takalkar expressed gratitude, saying, "This award gives us strength to continue our mission for special children."
