Abdul Sattar declares assets worth Rs 6.85 crore

In the Sillod Assembly constituency, Mahayuti candidate Abdul Sattar submitted his nomination papers to the election returning officer on Wednesday. Along with his application, he provided an affidavit detailing his assets worth a total of Rs 6.85 crore.
Sattar's declaration includes movable assets worth Rs 5.43 crore and immovable assets valued at Rs 1.84 Crore. Besides, his wife holds movable assets worth Rs 3.97 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 40.06 lakh. He has Rs 3.20 lakh in government dues and has taken a loan of Rs 39.49 lakh from banks. He also has deposits totalling Rs 62.29 lakh in various banks and cash amounting to Rs 5.90 lakh. His assets include 15 tolas of gold and diamonds worth Rs 7.91 lakh.
Sattar has shares worth Rs 12.50 lakh in Mahindra Enterprises Co. and Rs 26,705 in various cooperative societies, along with Rs 2.55 crore in A.S Ajanta Construction. He owns an Innova car, and his total income for the year 2023-24 is reported to be Rs 94.95 lakh.
Criminal Record
Sattar has completed his education up to B. A (FY) in 1984 and has six criminal cases registered against him. Five of these cases are pending in court, while one is under investigation at the police station.
