AMC detects 11 COVID patients in city
Aurangabad, Jan 14:
The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 151 antigen and 590 RT-PCR tests (total 741 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 11 Covid-19 patients today.
The health teams conducted 39 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected two Covid-19 patients on the spot. The AMC personnel also held 91 RT-PCR tests on the suspects. Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams conducted 49 antigen tests and detected four Covid-19 patients. It also collected swab collection of 380 suspects for RT-PCR tests.
According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted ten RT-PCR tests, and private laboratories performed 109, on Thursday. The private laboratories also conducted 63 antigen tests and found five Covid-19 infected patients. The AMC will be receiving the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
