AMC detects 63 COVID patients on Wednesday
Aurangabad, Oct 21:
The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 459 antigens and 331 RT-PCR tests (total 790 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and detected 63 Covid-19 patients today.
The health teams conducted 132 antigen tests at the CCCs and found 21 Covid-19 patients. The AMC personnel also held RT-PCR tests of 47 suspects.
Meanwhile, the Special Task Force, by visiting different parts of the city, conducted 262 antigens tests and detected 34 Covid-19 patients, apart from 134 RT-PCR tests on suspects.
According to AMC data, GMCH conducted 40 RT-PCR tests; three RT-PCR tests by District Civil Hospital and 107 by private laboratories. Meanwhile, the private laboratories also conducted 65 antigens tests and detected eight Covid-19 patients (including three from the areas out of the AMC limits), it stated. The AMC will receive the report of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
