Aurangabad, May 7:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 2,589 antigens and 1,548 RT-PCR tests (total of 4,137 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 92 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 60 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected 11 persons as infected. The AMC personnel also held 412 RT-PCR tests at the CCCs. Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams have conducted 2,451 antigen tests and detected 72 Coronavirus-infected persons. They also collected swab samples of 788 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) has conducted 79 RT-PCR tests, District Civil Hospital conducted 21 and private laboratories did 248 on Friday. Meanwhile, the GMCH also conducted 46 antigen tests and detected nine infected patients, while the private laboratories conducted 32 antigen tests and found no infected patients. The AMC will be receiving the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
