Here is good news that the strength of Covid-19 patients in and around the city is declining. However, the health administration expressed its concern as around 50 per cent are reported to be infected by the Coronavirus Disease, so far.
The administration thinks that the irresponsible attitude of youngsters while visiting public places without taking proper measures could be the main reason.
As per the data prepared by the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), the strength of Covid-19 patients till to date is 23,266. Of which, the patients hailing from the age group of 18 to 50 years are 13,388, 50 years and above are 6,358, 05 to 18 years are 3,011 the little patients from age group from 0 to 5 years are 509.
Of the total patients on record, 14,231 are males, and 9,035 are females. So far, 20,011 have been discharged. As per Thursday''s report, 117 patients were reported while 226 were given discharge.
