Aurangabad, Sept 24:
The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) administration has stopped conducting antigen tests upon persons entering the city limits through six points of entry (PoE) from today. The rush of people visiting the city prompted the civic authorities to halt the screening of visitors.

Meanwhile, the AMC health officials today conducted 739 tests (including 465 antigen tests and 274 RT-PCR tests) and detected 95 Covid-19 positive patients, during their visit to different parts of the city, today from 7 am to 7 pm.

The health personnel deployed at COVID Care Centres (CCCs) collected 127 swabs of suspects, undergoing treatment, for RT-PCR tests today.

The mobile teams of the Special Task Force conducted 465 antigen tests by visiting different parts of the city and traced 95 Covid-19 positive patients (including five from the non-AMC area) today. The health personnel also collected 147 swab samples for RT-PCR tests. The reports of RT-PCR tests will be received tomorrow.
