Aurangabad, Feb 9:

The anti-encroachment squad of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) today took action against two illegal mobile towers and prevented from erecting it without permissions.

The civic team stopped the erection of mobile tower on the house of one Rakesh Gunwani, in front of old post office at Narali Baugh. The squad also stopped illegal erection of mobile tower on the terrace of a house at Muzaffarnagar in Rauza Baugh. The workers of mobile phone companies were refrained from continuing the work without permission. The AMC also seized the tower material.

The anti-encroachment squad stopped an illegal construction on a plot in Shambhunagar. The squad personnel than was active in removing Kucha/Pucca encroachment made in Kabranagar-Sutgirni Parisar. The squad also removed a tin shed creating an obstruction to the traffic. Illegal displaying of advertisement boards on poles were also removed from the Osmanpura crossroad. Lastly, the squad removed a shed and advertisement displayed on Auditor Society's road at Harsul T-Point.

Under the guidance of superiors, today's action was taken by designated officer R S Rachatwar, building inspectors P B Gaoli, Syed Jamsheed, Mohd Mazhar Ali, R M Surase and others.
