Aurangabad, Jan 14:

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (SCETC) has asked all the architecture institutes not to admit students beyond sanctioned intake.

The Council of Architecture has received many complaints that colleges had admitted students beyond sanctioned intake. This is affecting the career and educational loss of youths. Taking the complaints seriously, the Council has sent a letter to the SCETC stating that architecture schools must admit students to the first year of B Arch degree course only within the sanctioned intake, else, the institutes would face action.

"The colleges should give reservation to students or relaxation of marks in qualifying examinations for the purpose of admission to the five year B Arch course as per the State Government's policy,” the Cell stated in the letter to all the colleges.
