Aurangabad, Feb 22:

The Civil Aviation Committee (CAC) of Aurangabad Tourism Development Forum (ATDF) today had a virtual meeting with the officials of two private airline companies - IndiGo and Alliance Air - and urged them to operate direct flights from the city to various important destinations, including Pune, Nagpur and Goa.

The office-bearers including the chairman (CAC) and the industrialist Sunit Kothari and Jaswant Singh, proposed operations of direct flights on 14 different routes. IndiGo responded positively as 25 new ATRs will be added to its fleet soon. Alliance Air underlined that it would focus on Aurangabad after its successful operation of flights from Pune to various destinations.
