Aurangabad, July 6:

Board of Examination of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University on Tuesday decided to declare the fresh result of Computer Application subject of B Com first year again.

It may be noted that the university conducted undergraduate and postgraduate courses examinations online in May this year.

Around 90 per cent students were declared failed in one paper of ‘Computer Application’ subject of B Com first year while they obtained A-plus in other subjects.

Many students, their unions and parents raised the issue with vice-chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole who set up a three-member committee.

The panel submitted the report stating that the question paper was very tough and the majority of the students were unable to solve the questions.

Hundreds of students were declared failed in this paper. The committee recommended the university give an average to students on the basis of other papers percentages and declare the result.

A meeting of the Board of Examinations (BoE) was called today hurriedly to discuss the matter. The BoE members decided to give an average and declare the candidates passed. The result of the students will be announced one more time.
