Aurangabad, May 22:

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) will hold its 61st convocation ceremony online by June end. The registration process to receive a degree on convocation day has begun and its last date is June 10.

Director of Board of Examinations and Evaluation Dr Yogesh Patil said that those who completed graduate, postgraduate, M Phil and Ph D degrees in October-November 2019 and March/April 2020 sessions are eligible to receive the degree on the convocation day after the registration.

The 59th convocation ceremony was held in September 2019 and the 60th in February 2020.

The then vice-chairman of University Grants Commission, Dr Bhushan Patwardhan, Governor and chancellor of universities Bhagat Singh Koshyari and director of National Chemical Laboratory Dr Ashwinikumar Nangiya were the chief guests for the convocation ceremonies.

Candidates need to register online and submit a hard copy with the examinations department personally or by post along with required documents.

Those who have submitted the degree application form along with the examinations application forms need not apply.
