Aurangabad, Jan 27:

“People have high hopes from the university. We are trying to fulfil the hopes of people. However, interference of outside elements in the campus would not be tolerated,” said Dr Pramod Yeole, vice-chancellor of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu).

He was speaking in a flag hoisting ceremony held in Bamu on Tuesday to celebrate Republic Day.

Pro-VC Dr Shyam Shirsath, registrar Dr Jaishri Sonkamble, director of Students Development Department Dr Mustajeeb Khan, deans Dr Bhalchandra Waykar, Dr Walmik Sarwade, Dr Chetna Sonkamble, management council members Dr Sachin Deshmukh and Fulchand Salampure.

VC Dr Pramod Yeole said that some improper people were trying to interfere in the administration.

“We all should remain committed for Bamu’s development and should not support such improper persons. Life is returning to normalcy. The university will blood with students once again soon,” he added. Professors, officers, employees and students were present.

Security officer Suresh Pardeshi conducted the proceedings. All measures of Novel coronavirus were followed.
