Aurangabad, May 3:

In response to the demand made by the former MP Chandrakant Khaire to start a central government-sponsored health facility centre in Aurangabad (the capital of Marathwada region), the union Health Minister Dr. Harshavardhan has issued a written assurance of starting the centre in the city.

Presently, the Central Government employees, ex-servicemen, freedom fighters, defense personnel, pensioners, etc. had to visit for their treatments to the facility centres in Mumbai, Pune, Nasik and Nagpur. Meanwhile, the assurance will provide relief to thousands of officials and personnel (in service or retired) associated with the various central government offices and beneficiaries availing the Central Government Health Scheme.
