Aurangabad, June 7:

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will interact online with Shiv Sena office-beares, leaders and activists on June 8 to celebrate the 36th foundation of the party’s first branch establishment in the city.

The first branch of Sena in Marathwada was started in the city on June 8, 1985. MP Chandrakant Khaire said that various programmes would be held in the district to celebrate the foundation day.

A flag hoisting ceremony will be held at Gulmandi at 9 am on Tuesday. Santiser, mask and health items will be distributed. Satyanarayan Mahapuja will be performed at 4 pm while ‘BhavBhakti’ programme will be held at 7 pm. Shivjansampark, a campaign, will be launched at Panchayat Samiti, Zilla Parishad bloc in the rural area and wards-wise in city areas from June 9.

EGS Minister Sandeepan Bhumre, Minister of State Abdul Sattar, contact chief Vinod Ghosalkar, legislator Manisha Kayande, join-contact chief Triambak Tupe, MLC Ambadas Danve, district party chief Narendra Trivedi, MLAs Pradeep Jaiswal, Sanjay Shirsath, Ramesh Bornare and Udaysingh Rajput, R M Wani, Kishanchand Tanwani, Nandkumar Ghodele, Rajendra Janjal, Rishikesh Khaire and others will grace the event. All Covid measures will be followed in the programmes.
