Aurangabad, June 7: The Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA) handed over an Oxygen Generation plant to dean, Government Medical College Hospital (GHCH) Dr Kanan Yelikar, today.
MPs Dr Bhagwat Karad, Imtiaz Jaleel, MLA Sanjay Shirsat, MLC Satish Chavan, district collector Sunil Chavan, Zilla Parishad chief executive officer Dr M M Gondavale, CMIA office-bearers president Kamleish Dhoot, vice-president Shivprasad Jaju, secretary Satish Lonikar, donors, chairman CII (Aurangabad) Raman Ajgaonkar, vice-chairman Prasad Kokil, MASSIA president Narayan Pawar, AICA president Kalyan Waghmare, Dr Minakshi Bhattacharya, Dr Jyoti Bajaj and the GMCH medical staff were present.
Jaju gave introductory speech and conducted the proceedings. Kamleish Dhoot thanked the 23 donor members for their contribution towards social cause.
Dignitaries praised the doctors and staff at the GMCH for their dedicated service in fighting Covid-19. They also appreciated CMIA and donor members for their commitment to the social cause.
GMCH administration admired CMIA with a letter of gratitude for providing the oxygen plant which is the need of the hour and added that it would go a long way in the treatment of patients.
Dr Bhattacharya presented a vote of thanks and admired the CMIA for standing behind the doctors by providing RTPCR test machines, ventilators and the oxygen plant.
Oxygen generation plant
* *Plant has capacity of 125 cylinders/day (600 LPM) and will be very useful for treatment of COVID-19 patients as well other patients.
* *It has been procured and installed through the generous contribution of 23 CMIA donor members.
