Aurangabad, March 14:

The administration has imposed a partial lockdown on Saturday and Sunday in the city to break the Corona Virus chain. Every service was closed on Sunday. Several students had come to the city on Sunday to attend the Railway Board examination. However, the passengers arriving by train and bus could not find the public transport vehicles to go to various parts of the city.

One such girl came to the city on Sunday but was confused due to lockdown as she could find any vehicle to go to the examination centre on time. She feared that she would miss the examination. But, a police constable, Hanumant Chalnewad, came near her and inquired about her problem. After listening to the woes of the girl, he himself dropped the girl at the examination centre and she could attend the examination on time.

When the commissioner of police, Dr Nikhil Gupta, came to know about the incident, he congratulated Chalnewad and praised him for helping the needy girl. He announced a cash prize of Rs 5000 for the constable and posted it on his official Twitter account.
