Consumers face inconvenience over frequent power failure

Aurangabad, June 9:

Residents from villages that fall within the jurisdiction of Cidco Waluj Mahanagar sub-station of electricity company were facing convenience over frequent power failure.

A delegation of consumers from Wadgaon, Tisgaon, Cidco Waluj Mahanagar, South City and others areas met the superintending engineer of Naregaon office of Mahaveetran Sanjay Akode on Wednesday and apprised him of their grievances.

With the rise in consumers, the consumption of electricity has also increased. Their demands included seeking supply from Patoda sub-station, installation of new sub-station, increasing number of wiremen, laying underground cable, construction of safety grill and wall around DPs.

Deputy sarpanch Nagesh Kuthari, Narendra Yadav, Maruti Gaikwad, Uday Deshmukh, Alesh Santre and others were present.
