Aurangabad, April 24: The Mahavitaran consumers can send their power meter reading on their own during four days every month, according to a Mahavitaran statement.

Due to the ongoing Break the Chain initiative because of the second wave of Covid-19, many areas and societies have been declared as containment zones. In such areas, the Mahavitaran will not be able to take the meter reading. It has appealed to the consumers to send their meter readings on Mahavitaran Mobile app or its website https://wss.mahadiscom.in/wss/wss.

The Centralised Billing System allows the LT consumers to send their meter reading on a specific day between 1st to 25th of the month. The date fixed for meter reading is mentioned on the electricity bills of consumers and the meter number is also mentioned. A day prior to the fixed date, the MSEDCL requests the consumers through an SMS on their registered number to send their self meter readings. The consumers can send the reading within 4 days of receiving this SMS, said the Mahavitaran statement.
