Aurangabad, Jan 3:

Islamic Research Centre (IRC) Education And Welfare Trust and AL Kitab Education And Welfare Society jointly organised a COVID awareness programme recently.

Medical Officer of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation Dr Neeta Padalkar spoke about how the Government was planning to implement the vaccination program. Dr Neeta said that in the first phase vaccination would be for doctors, Paramedical staff and frontline health workers.

She said around 100 vaccination booths will be set up in the city and an App was developed by the Government for the registration purpose.

Dr Chandrashekhar Kandarphale, Neuro Surgeon, was .felicitated for his invaluable services in children''s health. President of IRC adv Faiz Syed gave a brief introduction of the activities of the trust.

Nouman Khan, Aarti Tiwari, Mohsina Syed and Munawwar Khan were present.

Khwaja Aleemuddin proposed a vote of thanks.
