Aurangabad, May 25:

The criminal activities started increasing at Wadgaon Kolhati village in Waluj Mahanagar after winding up ‘Dattak Yojana.’ A total of three persons were brutally murdered in two years in the village.

The then commissioner of police Sanjay Kumar started ‘Dattak Yojna’ to reduce the crime in the village. The then police inspector Kishor Navle took initiated various initiatives to reduce crimes and change the mindset of people. Under the scheme, literacy campaign free police army training, sewing classes for a widow and shelterless woman to make them self dependent.

Police succeeded in changing the image of the village and maintaining law and order very well.

The director-general of police who had visited the village praised the scheme. He also had determined to implement it across the State.

After winding up ‘Dattak Yojana’, the crims were increasing for the past few days.

Three persons who had criminal background were murdered brutally. Their names are Balu Patole, Yogesh Pradhan and Vishal alias Mandya Phate.
