Aurangabad, June 20:

A programme will be held at Indoor Auditorium of Divisional Sports Complex at 7 am on June 21 to celebrate 7th International Yoga Day.

Public representative and Government officers will participate in the programme. A cycle rally was taken out from Kranti Chowk at 7 am today to create awareness among the masses about the day.

District Sports Officer Kavita Nawande said that the rally culminated at the district collect office via different parts of the city. The participants were present at 6.15 am to participate in the rally.

An introduction of each participant was given to the District collector. Prizes were distributed to the participants after picking up the draw of lots.

Meanwhile, a programme under ‘Yoga Ek Bhartiya Virasat’ campaign will be organised near Ellora Caves. The programme comprises 45 minutes of yoga and 30 minutes of cultural programmes. Similar programmes will be hosted at 75 places across the country on Yoga Day. Aurangabad was selected for the programme in the State.

Yoga experts will give training between 7 am to 7.30 am and Sangeet Natak Akademi will hold cultural programmes at 8.15 am.
