Aurangabad, March 14:

Around 3 to 4 dacoits armed with sharp weapons entered in a house at Teesgaon area with the intension to conduct a dacoity on Sunday wee hours. They tried to rob the woman in the house, who had came to her parents home from her husband’s house, but her brothers tried to resist the dacoits. Considering the danger, the dacoits snatched gold chain of the woman weighing 2 tolas and fled away.

Durgesh and Jairaj Gaikwad live with their family at Teesgaon area. Their sister Jayashri Gaikwad came to their house for the past few days. The dacoits entered the house from the back door. However, her brothers woke up and tried to resist the dacoits. The dacoits then snatched the gold chain of Jayashree and fled away from the scene. A case has been registered at the Waluj MIDC police station while API Gautam Wavale is further investigating the case.
