Demand to appoint trained teachers in pvt English schools
Aurangabad, June 26:
DT Ed and B Ed Students Association demanded that DTed and B Ed candidates should be appointed trained and qualified teachers in private English schools of the State.
In a memorandum submitted to Education Department on Friday, the association office-bearers stated that the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has fixed the minimum teaching and professional eligibility for primary schools around 11 years ago.
As per the norms, those teachers who have eligibility should be appointed in English schools.
The Association office-bearers said that many private English schools have recruitment of untrained and non-qualified teachers for teaching. It demanded that eligible and train teachers should be appointed in English schools.
