Aurangabad, March 2:

Maharashtra Kamgar Karmachari Sanghatna demanded to release sanitation employees' salary working in Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on time.

In a memorandum submitted to the GMCH dean, Sanghatna leader adv Abhay Taksal stated that sanitation employees (COVID Warriors) who get on a meagre salary work in COVID situation, risking their life. The employees were deprived of their salary since January 2021.

Also, employees have been staging agitation in GMCH premises for the past 110 days, demanding to absorb in regular service and give Diwali bonus.
