Aurangabad, March 3:

Akhil Bhartiya Urdu Shikshang Sangh (ABUSS) demanded to stop the survey of out-of-school children being carried out across the State up to March 10.

It may be noted that many students have not taken admission in the school as their family migrated to other places. To increase the students' attendance, the education department launched a survey. However, the number of Novel coronavirus patients is rising across the State. In a memorandum submitted to the education commissioner, the ABUSS office-bearers stated that lockdown is being imposed in some districts of the State because of a rise in the number of COVID patients.

“Teachers are busy in preparing students of SSC and HSC for the examinations. The campaign is not in the interest of teachers and students today and it should be halted for a tentative period,” they added. Union’s State unit general secretary Sajid Nisar and others signed the memorandum.
