Aurangabad, July 11:

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) lodged a complaint against a doctor for administering abortion pills in the Maliwada area. A case has been registered against the fake doctor Deepak Shantilal Kunkulol - Jain at the Daulatabad police station on July 10 in this regard.

Earlier on July 2, health officer Prashant Date and his team raided a clinic of a bogus doctor Vasudev Gopal Bala (27, Bazar Savangi). Now, a complaint has been registered against Deepak Jain in a similar way.

The FDA received information that a bogus doctor Deepak Jain is giving abortion pills to the women even though he is not eligible for it. On January 5, the FDA officers sent a dummy patient to his clinic, and she purchased the abortion pills from him. The medicines were sent to the Forensic lab for testing. The FDA has received the report from the lab; hence, a case has been registered against Jain at Daulatabad police station on July 10.
