Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The declaration of the highest ever grade (A-plus to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) on Thursday from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)has turned out to be a double delight in Diwali festival.
The administration of the university has been doing preparations for the NAAC evaluation for the last nine months under the guidance of vice chancellor Dr Vijay Fulari who took the charge of the post on January 24, 2024. Under his guidance, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) diligently collected the data and submitted the 'Self Assessment Report (SSR)' to NAAC.
VC Dr Vijay Fulari visited the academic departments five times during this period and reviewed them as per the required preparations. He also conducted periodic review meetings and made suggestions to heads of departments and professors. Pro-VC Dr Walmik Sarwade, Registrar Dr Prashant Amritkar, IQAC director Dr Gulab Khedkar, advisor Dr M D Jahagirdar and all the colleagues of the committee made continuous efforts for the entire process.

Bamu fit for UPE
Dr Vijay Pandharipande (ex-VC Bamu): All BAMU deserve congratulations on this achievement. Our faculty, and employees are dedicated and students are hard-working. Infrastrucure is excellent. In spite of our rural background, we are at the forefront of research. We are the first to start a vocational degree course, a school system and a credit grading system way back in 2012. We are now fit for University with Potential Excellence (UPE).
