Ex-serviceman beats PSI for slapping fine

An ex-serviceman
beat a PSI with his helmet on head and bite his finger as he imposed fine of Rs
1200 as he breached the traffic norms. He also bite a finger of a constable,
who went to help the PSI. The incident occurred at Mahavir Chowk on May 26. The
ex-serviceman has been identified as Bhagwan Krushnaji Sanap (55, Rajshree
Colony, Mukundwadi). A case against him has been registered at the Vedantnagar
police station.
PSI of the
Cantonment traffic branch Sanjay Bansode and others were regularizing the
traffic at Mahavir Chowk on Wednesday at around 11.30 am.
He stopped Sanap, who was not wearing a helmet and
he even did not had the documents of the motorcycle. Bansod imposed a fine on
him. At around 1 pm, he again came to Mahavir Chowk and quarreled with Bansode
stating that why he imposed a fine of Rs 1200 and started manhandling him.
Sanap took the helmet from the motorcycle and hit Bansod on head and also bite
his finger. He also bite the finger of the constable, who came to help Bansod.
