The different departments of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) in the city and Osmanabad campuses will conduct undergraduate and postgraduate courses examinations from October 14.

There are 50 departments in both the campuses and the majority of them offer PG courses in humanities, social sciences, commerce, science, education, physical education, management science, fine art and law.

It may be noted that with the spread of Novel coronavirus, the departments were shut down and the examinations were postponed. The University Grants Commission and State Government directed all the universities including BAMU, to hold final semester examinations in October.

The departments were to give examinations along with colleges. The college examinations postponed and so is the case with the departments. As per the revised schedule, the students from the departments will appear for the online examinations from October 14. The departments have already made arrangements for it.
