File cases if more than permitted people gather at wedding; seal Mangal Karyalayas: Divisional Commissioner

File cases if the cold, cough, flu patients

found wandering without masks under the epidemic Act. Conduct a surprise visit

at the Mangal Karyalayas and take action if more than permitted people and

without masks are found. Notices should be served for breaching the rules on

the first occasion while cases should be filed on the second occasion and seal

the Mangal Karyalayas for 15 days, directed divisional commissioner Sunil

Kendrekar to all district collectors of Marathwada region, municipal commissioners

and police administration. The administration is on an alert due to the

increased number of patients. In this backdrop, Kendrekar issued some

directives to the officers.

People are crowding in the wedding ceremonies

but everyone is ignorant about it, Kendrekar said.

Along with the Mangal Karyalayas, Coaching

Classes should also be checked. The students are seen without masks and there

is no sanitizer facility. Hence, notices should be issues in this regard while

classes should be sealed found breaching rules on second time.

The private doctors have also been directed

to conduct the tests of the patients suffering from cold, cough and flu. If the

symptoms are seen, the patients should be asked for conducting the test and

should not ignore it considering it as normal cold and cough, Kendrekar said.

If the patients with cold, cough and flu are

seen wandering without masks, cases should be lodged under epidemic Act, he

mentioned.

The review of the Covid Care Centres should

be taken. The areas where the patients are found should be sealed at micro

levels. Contact tracing should be increased, at least 20 persons should be

tested. The tests in Hingoli and Parbhani district should increased. People

coming to vegetable markets, shops should be tested, Kendrekar directed.

There is a possibility of a sudden increase

of number of patients. Some doctors have opined that there is new strain of

Coronavirus. Everyone is aware of every rules and hence no one should be negligent,

Kendrekar said.
