Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The two-day-long final training camp for the Haj 2025 pilgrims got started at Haj House in Kile Ark on Saturday. It was participated in by 2400 aspirants from all over Marathwada.
The participants were apprised about the importance of wearing ‘Ahram’ (unstitched white cloth used by male pilgrims while performing the Umrah (mini Haj) in holy cities of Mecca and Madina. The experts provided details about their religious importance and how to prepare for the holy Haj journey.
The Markaz-e-Khidmat-e-Hujjaj Committee conducts annual training sessions for Haj pilgrims, continuing its long-standing tradition of service. This year’s training for upcoming Haj pilgrims is already underway. So far, four separate sessions have been conducted. On Saturday, the final two-day training camp began at the Haj House.
The session started at 9.30 am, where Rafat Baig and Dr. Rahim gave detailed guidance on how to prepare for the journey. Pilgrims were educated on performing Umrah, with visual explanations of the process. Sajid Anwar explained the importance of wearing the ‘Ahram’ before starting the pilgrimage. Pilgrims also had various queries, which were addressed by Maulana Nasimuddin Miftahi, who provided clear and satisfactory answers to all. The final session of the camp is scheduled for Sunday at 9.30 am, informed Mirza Afsar Ali Baig, Secretary of the Hujjaj Committee.
Many individuals, including Prof. Faisal, Moin Bhai, and Aleem Jafar Motiwala, worked hard to ensure the success of the camp. Meanwhile, Atique Ahmed has been appointed as the caretaker of the Haj House by the Maharashtra Haj Committee.
