Focus on opening shops with restrictions

Aurangabad, May 30:

Corona infection has reduced in urban and rural areas. The positivity rate in the city has dropped to just two percent. But the death toll is still high. The government fears that the situation will worsen again after the unlock. Reliable sources said that the government will focus on gradually opening various shops related to the daily life of the citizens.

The central government had declared some districts in Maharashtra in the red zone two and a half months ago. That included Aurangabad. In the last two and a half months, the health administration, police, revenue and other government agencies have played a pivotal role in reducing corona infection with the cooperation of citizens. On Saturday, 71 infected patients were found in urban areas and 157 in rural areas. The death toll on Saturday alone was 23. The number of corona suspected deaths is different. Although the infection is declining, the death toll is rising. So the government is still hesitant to open shops. If the government allows all traders to open shops from June 1, there will be an outbreak. The government has sought feedback from officials in various departments regarding the unlock. It is feared that if the markets are opened at the same time, there will be crowding and the infection will increase. Sources also said that the state government will not allow the entire market to open at once.

Traders looking forward to opening shops

Strict restrictions imposed by the state government since March. Shops have been closed for the last two and a half months. Traders in the city are eager to open shops as their condition and economics of the shops have completely collapsed during the lockdown.
