Gold chain stolen from house at Hanumannagar, three mobiles from Ambikanagar
Aurangabad, May 15:
A thief entered into an open house at Hanumannagar and snatched
a gold chain weighing seven grams from the neck of a woman. In other incident, the thieves stole three
mobile phones worth Rs 39,000 from a house at Ambikanagar.
Many people sleep on a terrace due to Summer season while
some keep the door open during night. On May 14, Raghunath Narayanram Jakhad, a
resident of Hanumannagar and his wife were sleeping in their house and the door
was open. An unidentified person entered the house at around 1.30 am and
snatched the gold chain from the neck of his wife. She started shouting for
help but the thief fled away from the scene. Jakhad lodged a complainant at the
Pundliknagar police station.
Similarly, three mobile phones amounting Rs 39,000 from an
open house of Kailas Ramesh Hanwate from Ambikanagar, Mukundwadi on May 10 night.
Meanwhile, three suspects were captured while snatching the
chain in the CCTV camera on the spot. The police on the basis of the CCTV
footage, the police arrested one of the suspect, informed API Ghansham
Sonawane.
