Aurangabad, Feb 3:

District collector Sunil Chavan took the responsibility to complete the old building Government School Art College (GSAC) of Khil-e-Ark soon.

He was addressing a gathering held to mark the golden jubilee celebration of the city's premier art institution.

‘ShKaMa Connect’ which organised the programme is also hosting a series of events including photo exhibition organised in memory of Prof Waman Chincholkar.

The district collector inaugurated the Alumni Contact Cell while MLC Ambadas Danve unveiled official website. Prof Anant Nikam, Dr Ganesh Tartare, Vijay Kulkarni, Dilip Bade were present.

Danve also assured the alumni members of helping them for the restoration work of the building. Kishore Nikam conducted the programme and Vijay Paturkar proposed a vote of thanks.

Ramesh Vadje, Abdul Gaffar, Moin Shaikh, Naresh Lahane, Shyam Tapaskar and others were present.

GSAC also organised a webinar. Prominent personalities, including president of Lalit Kala Akademi Uttam Pacharne, Vice-president of Bhartiya Sanskritik Sambandh Parishad Adwyat Gadnayak’, were present.
