Aurangabad, April 20:
The office of the deputy director of Health decided to carry out a probe throughout the year into the black marketing of Remdesivir injection.
It may be noted that three persons, including an employee of District Civil Hospital (DCH), were arrested for black marketing of the antiviral drug.
Injections were seized from them. The office of deputy director decided to make enquiry deeper.
The committee was not formed yet but, the senior officers of the department are doing a probe taking into its seriousness.
The probe, which began in March 2020 of the injection, is not limited just to two or three months but will continue throughout the year. The review of injections supplied to the DCH store was taken.
The officers are obtaining information of received and used injections. Deputy director Dr Swapnil Lale said that the real position would come to light soon. He said that action would be taken against those who are found guilty.
