The rain lashed the city on the third consecutive day on Friday. However, some parts of the city experienced heavy rain and other mild showers. The clouds gathered in the city in the afternoon. However, hide and seek of rain and sun rays were experienced by the residents till evening. Heavy rains were experienced at Jalna Road and Jalgaon Road but the Cidco area was arid. Similarly, mild showers fell at Hudco, Cantonment and Bhavsinghpura area.

Heavy rain was experienced at Aurangpura, Gulmandi, Paithan Gate, Kranti Chowk, Jalna Road to Deolai, Satara area, Jalgaon Road to Harsul Tee-point. Moreover, water entered into the ground floors of the buildings and shops at Jaibhavaninagar. However, Cidco – Hudco area were completely dry at the same time. In Cidco, mild showers were seen in N-7 police station to Jalgaon Road areas, but the rest were dry.

Meanwhile, Chikalthana observatory recorded 1.0 mm rainfall in the afternoon while Cidco MGM centre recorded 0 mm rainfall on Friday.
