Aurangabad, March 1:

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) will hold a meeting of department heads at Mahatma Phule Hall at 11.30 am on March 2 to discuss the planning of examinations.

The examinations sessions for the academic year 2020-21 were delayed with the spread of Novel coronavirus.

The first session is held in October-November will now be conducted in April-May while the annual session of March-April to be organised in July-August.

All the department heads were asked to attend the meeting.

The State Government permitted universities and colleges to restart classes for the undergraduate courses from February 15.

However, some departments are still waiting to reopen the classes as they are waiting to get the approval of clock-hour-basis teachers.
