Husband exploits wife along with his friend in Bajajnagar

Waluj MIDC police have registered a case against a man, who sexually exploited his friend’s wife, in Bajajnagar. The accused also molested the victim’s daughter. The woman lodged a complaint against her husband as well as his friend on Friday.

The 34-year-old victim was married to a youth (from Jalna) working in a private company on February 8, 2007. After six months of marriage, the couple shifted to Ranjangaon Shenpunji and was staying in a rented house. The couple has two daughters and one son. In 2017, the victim’s husband went to South Africa for business. Hence she was staying alone with her children. In 2020, her husband arranged for a rented house in one society at Bajajnagar. He introduced the neighbour Wahid Pathan (50, Pandharpur in Waluj MIDC) as his friend to the family.

In 2021, when she was at home, her husband along with Wahid came home. Later on, the husband told Wahid to develop sexual relations with his wife. The husband also forcibly made sexual relations with her afterwards. The children were sleeping in the house. The duo threatened her of harming the kids, if she informed anybody about the incident, stated the complainant.

After a few days, the victim moved to stay in a housing society at More Chowk. Here also, the husband and his friend raped her on one night in 2023. In 2024, Wahid came to her house in the afternoon. He snatched the cellphone from the hand of the victim’s 17-year-old daughter and molested her. This angered the complainant who then pushed him out of the house and locked the door. Later on, the victim along with three children went to stay with her parents.

In the meantime, her husband contacted to accompany her to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. When she refused her beat and threatened her with dire consequences. Hence she contacted the Badnapur police station and complained against her husband. Now, she lodged the complaint with Waluj MIDC police station against the husband and his friend Wahid. The police have registered the case and further investigation is on.
