Three persons severely beat an industrialist at Trimurti Chowk to Chetak Ghoda Chowk Road and damaged his car on Wednesday evening over petty reasons. The police arrested the accused after few hours of the incident. The arrested have been identified as Sachin Vijay Ingle, Mangesh Shankar Balkhande and Nilesh Bablu Balkhande (all residents of Bauddhanagar).

The industrialist, Elvin Philips Kotas (26, Shring Park, Vedantnagar) runs a company at industrial area. On Wednesday, he had gone to purchase medicines at Asian Hospital. On the road, he apply sudden brakes of the car as a bus came in front. The accused on the motorcycle were on a motorcycle behind his car and signaled to overtake the car. However, Kotas did not listened to them as the windowpanes were closed. After the bus passed, they block the car and started beating Kotas. One of them pelted the car with stone and the glasses were broken. Kotas after the incident, lodged a complaint at Jawaharnagar police station. Under the guidance of PI, Santosh Patil, PSI Dattatray Botke searched and arrested all the three accused.
