Aurangabad, June 2:

" It is an indecent act to threaten the deputy commissioner (labour) by few traders, who had violated the Covid-19 pandemic norms, and their supporters," said the guardian minister Subhash Desai, without taking names of any public representatives and office-bearers of his own party and other political parties.

There are 2.96 lakh shops in the district, out of which, 82 violated the government orders and dared to open their establishments. Out of which, the hearing of 46 had been completed and the administration has okayed to remove the seals of their shops, while the remaining 36 are pending. The process will be completed in order. We should show our respect towards more than 99 percent of traders and merchants, who followed the government rules and regulations and kept their shops closed, during the pandemic situation. Instead of doing this in reality, all the 'dignitaries' are shielding and extending support to those who had violated the orders. The logic is unable to understand, said the guardian minister.

Implemented 'Break the Chain' with the support of all

Desai said, " The state government has granted relaxation under 'Break the Chain' from June 1. Accordingly, the district administration granted permission to open all the essential and non-essential category shops from 7 am to 2 pm. Aurangabad could be listed as one of the districts where the positive rate was low and the spreading of the Coronavirus is under control. This could happen with the co-operation of all of them. We could get rid of the new wave of Covid-19 due to law-abiding citizens and the officers implementing the system religiously."
