Aurangabad, June 15:

Shaikh Mazhar Shaikh Babar, a 34-year-old resident of Al-Hilal Colony, ended his life by hanging himself to the ceiling of his room on Tuesday early morning.

According to details, Shaikh Mazhar was jobless for the past four to five months.

He was not talking much with anybody as he was not getting a job and his wife had also left for her parents' house a few days ago.

Shaikh Mazhar was undergoing treatment at Government Medical College and Hospital as he was found suffering from mental illness.

He committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling fan. When the relatives realised this, they rushed him to GMCH in an unconscious state. Doctors at Casual Department declared him brought dead. A case of accidental death was registered with Begumpura Police Station. Police constable Popat Kakde is on the case.
